If you're not interested in the politics, then ignore it.  I'm here primarily to support the folding side of our DC team in reaching the 700-750-800M goal too, and I think that's why most other people are here too.

If I am not mistaken, we are doing this for one reason. To help others in need of cures for diseases, or is that wrong? I am new to the forums and new to folding but it seems some people in this contest are definitely getting a little butt hurt. This whole contest idea is suppose to be fun? I haven't really been keeping up with any drama because I have no place in it but as a non biased opinion i think it all needs to stop. The contest rules were changed, BIG DEAL. So you want bragging rights? Well if we hit out estimated goal of 700-800M points we get bragging rights as an entire team, TEAM EVGA. Isn't that the team we are folding for in the end anyway? I know we all have our own individual teams and it may not be my place to say anything for I am very new to this but, and I know this is going to sound corny but, Can't we all just get along and have fun? Yes lets talk trash here and there. Who cares it happens IRL. If you can not take it here on the internet what will you do in real life? Lets just have fun while we do this. It almost doesn't seem fair to put the people who are putting these contests together because they have to adjust things to everyone's needs and then adjust them some more during the race. I will not lie, I saw some of the predicted PPD and then their actual PPD and thought it was bunk. But I did not let it get me butt hurt. Why you might ask? Because in the end we are all ONE TEAM! Lets get it together, sing kumbiya or what ever and leave the drama outside. We as a community can't bicker and pick to the point that offend dedicated members and make them lose interest in helping at all.

All I see are two folks jibber jabbing. Most of what they say we all have had in our minds at any given time. Only difference is they typed them.

Back and forth is healthy in any relationship. Unfortunately in the "New" way to communicate there is a traceable trail. Also not having an emotion/body language sensor to help better understand the words... One could take any sentence out of context.

And I agree with Punchy. Two folks having a conversation or getting things off their chest is not the representation of our team. Not even close.

That said, all the passion and determination shown by all parties just proves we are human and have the winning team to beat Cancer.

Is THAT not the only important factor here?

At this point, I want to say forget the 800M point goal; if we don't ALL grow up and drop the petty crap, we're going to lose our freaking TEAM. Think about that, folks.

Though it's a 'forum' to discuss, it's difficult to do so when we can't be in the same room, people coming along at different points seeing different things, and people talking between themselves, it makes for a jumbled mess.
 
It's not all about one person or a few people, it's all over a little over production, but that's the point make people fold hard accept the challenge and go at it head on for the science for the cure and for goals set, be it the 700 - 800 mil of this contest or each persons personal goal.

Punchy is always cute *pats the Punchy on the head*. (lucky I'm a girl or this would be a little awkward and weird about now lol)
