FWIW I may just be immune and/or simply ignorant to much of the politics, but as such I believe that I am enjoying it... It's a chance to push your hardware and work as a team for a worthwhile cause... I'm pretty sure that once everyone lowers their pitchforks, chains, and rubber hoses and such that they'll all agree as well...

if you really want my opinion....I pretty much lost intrest after the first week. I really respect your work here in organizing it, but lack of initial transperancy and the impossability of ballance, removes pretty much any fun I was anticipating. the 2 stated original goals however are still important to me, overall team progress and new folder awarness. although not sure if the second one is a positive at this point. I will continue to try to have interest and fulfill my comittment and above if I can. on a side note: 415krunch has been one of the most positive guys here making these beautiful sigs for us  Keep Folding! I had the flu last week and I want it cured!!

I am having fun and enjoy the fact that I am able to participate in this contest. I just think the competitiveness came out in some members and it over took their emotions and became focused on things other then the main goal here. It happens and we will push through it! Keep up all the good work team!

Nope, not at all and here's why: -Everyone's getting along - I was hoping to get in on the action and throw a few punches  -We surpassed our goal of 27M points in a single day. -It's too competitive! - Because of this we're about to exceed our goal of 700M, what's even worse is we might reach 800M! That's unacceptable!!! -I broke my F5 key on the contest page - Troy owes me a new keyboard  -And above all Shykal talks in her sleep waking our team up in the middle of the night! It's even worse when Mad sneaks in the back door using the spare key and sleeps over. His snoring is unbearable!  Don't worry Skykal we still love you  If you ask me this contest was a complete flop

yup troy, I am. thanks for all the hard work and hours.  you have made it hard not to hit the buy button on a 4p system. had 4p in cart and to checkout a few times because of this contest, but managed to not hit the buy button. but i only have a 60 amp main breaker in my mobile home.

It is not competitive for the other 10+ members of the team when 3-5 members of each team can generate 60-90% of the points for the team. It has become a race between a few HPCS/Server Farms users with everyone else pretty much just watching with nothing to do.

What else would you do with the large producers? They have to be sprinkled throughout the teams somehow? Or maybe next time we make it so that largescale producers aren't allowed to compete.

honestly let it go... yes some can produce big points... that wasn't the issue both dip and werty are each a team of their own after the cap came off mind you I still have dip on a cap can this be fixed guys - Im not removing it if people are gonna reduce or quit folding on the team it was the fact that some mechanism should have been use to determine output prior to team distribution Ie. and individual round - everyone goes all out in 1 Big PPD race - in a bracket races (prizes for this too) and bring all your hardware in that you have running - no switchin rigs (you can go back to crunching for awhile after to make up for it - just like I do - spread the love around) 400k+ bracket 150k-400k 50-150 50k and below if you want it broken down more that would be fine you can have people list hardware amounts too if you wish run all out this gives us your real output during contest then go to town on the team races (balancing as much as you can for fairness) (if some members are too big use a weighted system - give smaller users more weight) put caps back in troy's word is gold - he can lay down the law no whining about his decisions or the rules and for god sake just post the complete rules and scoring system from the get go - so no one questions them after the race is started if they are posted and you signed up you accepted it and must live by them. NO changes ever play board games that had rule changes mid stream when you were round? last note.. give troy the power to lay down the SMAK - back him up about violations
