Latest news April 4: the Duke Nukem Forever DVD was accidentally dropped from the General Pool when I added shipping information to all the items.  If you want that on your pick list, please redo your General Pool choices.
 
April 3 news: due to a stupid mistake, part of the General Pool choices have been lost.  Please re-check your choices using the link below, and re-enter them if they are missing.  Sorry for the inconvenience.
 
As the contest ends tonight with everyone pushing so close to that 800M number, it's time to start the process of distributing the gifts so kindly donated by members of our own community.  We're trying a new process this contest to see if we can get everything decided quickly and with less manual effort.  Everyone will have the opportunity to list their gift preferences for both the general and competitive pools; hopefully all the contestants will have time to do that within the next 2-3 days.  When the random drawing happens, we will immediately be able to determine who receives what.
 
Please read the instructions and caveats below carefully.  If something isn't clear, please ask either in this thread or via PM and I'll update this post as needed. 
 
Read all the way to the end of this post before starting on the selection process.
1.  Enter your preferences for the General Pool at http://15.185.179.195/general.html and save the "Secret Number" you are given.
2.  Enter your preferences for the Competitive Pool at  http://15.185.179.195/competitive.html and save the "Secret Number" you are given.  Remember, everyone that meets the stated folding requirements from the rules is eligible for the Competitive Pool too.
3.  Confirm that your preferences for both pools have been entered correctly by visiting http://15.185.179.195/checkchoices.html
4.  You may redo the choices if you make a mistake; the last choices submitted will be the ones used after the drawing.
5.  If your shipping location is in the USA, put USA for your shipping location, NOT North America
 
Notes:
1.  Even if you wish to pass on either or both pools, please visit both pages and submit the choices (just leave all gifts as is, submit your name and location, and you're done).  That way we will be able to track whether everyone has made their choices or not.
2.  Pay attention to the superscript numbers in front of each gift choice - those represent the shipping "regions" available for each gift
3.  You are responsible for entering your choices and confirming them.  If you make a mistake, such as picking an item for which shipping is not available to your location, that choice will be skipped during the processing of the random drawing results.  That mistake will be indicated with an error message in RED TEXT - you should not ignore it.
4.  Your IP address will be saved with your entry for the purpose of tracking any possible manipulation of the system
5.  Use the "Forum Name" that you entered when entering the contest.  The names can be found at https://sites.google.com/...rticipants   If your actual forum name does not match what you entered, please let me know, as otherwise you may not be part of the selection process.
6.  Troy is the final authority for all issues that may arise

Cool stuff punchy. Just filled mines out. With my luck I may not win anything but if I win what I really want I may be able to provide an extra gift give away for the team. I do not want to add it yet for if I don't get what I really want I will have to keep what I have.

in the past when each person in the listed order has selected thier gift they had to send the next person a PM to let them know it was thier turn. If a specific person didn't respond to the PM within 24 hours it was on to the next person and so on.

I did get an error on selection. I'm in Canada, but I am able to go to the US to PU at a PO Box. if so should I change my area to US?
