I am signed up and ready to go got the 970 running out a couple of SMPs with my passkey so there can be minimal screw ups with changing things in the linux SR-2 boxes, I have been to scared to stop them as I heard when you stop them running linux they can drop the WU so the plan will be to shut them down soon after uploading so that if it does fail I haven't lost alot of work and it should pickup the same WU again and do it properly. I am also trying to get hold of a 460 2 win so I can put the GTS 450s from the 970 back into my GPU folding box, but they are not selling them in Australia and there doesn't appear to be any plans to do so.  Otherwise I am trying to get a active displayport adapter for my 5870 that is capable of running with 5m Dvi cables.

Don't worry...something is in the works. We are still out numbered 2:1 by OCN AND they have a 2:1 Chimp Point advantage. Right now we're out manned at out gunned.

We may need to ask Shane if we can put out a message to those that don't frequent the Folding section and put it in the General Discussion. Or we all need to start hitting up members with PM's that haven't signed up yet that do fold and just don't know atm. Either way we need to figure out something to get members if we want a shot with this handicap.

Ok, after reading all the threads on this I have to support my team! This will be my first CC and despite avg of about 14000 ppd I can fold a little more for the challenge! (usually I only fold about half the day). I run regular SMP (core i7 920) and GPU3 (gtx 570), no overclocking for me yet.

I'm in. Newbie at folding.
Got a new rig on its shakedown cruise and a LAN party room that'll become a makeshift folding farm.
The Rigs
Rig #1 - i7 2600k, 2x GTX 570 SC (PPD Unknown)
Rig #2 - Q6700, 2x GTX 460 (22000 PPD)
Rig #3 - QX6700, 2x 8800 GT (11000 PPD)
Rig #4 - RMAed mobo, E6750, 9800 GT (4500 PPD)
Rig #5 - P4 661, 8800 GTS (4000 PPD)
I'm warming them up now. Not sure if I'll be able to get the i7 clocked up and stable for bigadv, but will give it a shot. Little hesitant to overclock while breaking the new rig in.

Looks like we have 131 that have signed up on the "official" sign-up list. I don't know if there are others that will join us that have not signed up. I wasn't here last year and wonder what kind of participation we had then? With the new handicap system in place, I wonder how many people we would need to win this thing again?
