Interesting. Well I'll keep it in mind definitely then. Edit: Thoughts on how it would hold 3 580s and a 980X? All overclocked of course.

I seem to remember a thread not too long ago about the same PSU. Someone found that any PSU in the bargain bin only had like a 90 day warranty. I don't remember where the thread is.

I wouldn't skimp on a PSU.

Well put Awalleye, I wasn't sure about the quality, so I figured I'd post anyways. I've got my eyes on a Strider 1200 anyways.

This PSU lasted me about 3 months. It seemed to run tri SLI 480's and an i7 @ 4.3Ghz no problem. I left my PC idling last week and with that minimal load, it died. Installing an AX1200 this weekend. If, however, you still want one I'll sell you mine real cheap once it comes back from RMA.

Not enough PCIe connectors for me, I need a minimum of 4 8s, and 4 6s.

I've read some pretty dismal reviews on this unit, and in the end didn't trust myself buying it. If your going to skimp on anything in your pc, don't make it your psu!

I've had this psu for almost one year now. I have put this psu through the paces during this time. I've had it running in my main fully water cooled rig with a 950 clocked at 4.6Ghz and two GTX 480 Hydro Coppers blasting threw many Vantage runs. Right now it's in my i7 970 folding rig clocked at 4.4Ghz cranking out wu's 24/7. This psu has a switch on the back to run in the Rail Fusion mode and straight up single rail mode. I have always ran it in single rail mode. The fan on the psu does kick into high gear when Vantage benchmarking. Little on the noisy side when it does this, but at least you know it's trying to keep the psu cool. While folding the fan doesn't ramp up like the Vantage runs. I've been very happy with this psu and for $100 it's a steal. I just ordered a 2nd one on the 15th, but from a different website for $98 plus shipping. but they have yet to ship it. Wish I had ordered it from Mushkin since this other site is taking so long to ship it. EDIT: BTW this psu does have the dual 8-pin cpu power connectors for the EVGA X58 Classified motherboards.

Interesting Kram, thanks for the review on it. Seems like it would be a decent PSU, but not really up to my grade. The efficiency could be higher, and no LEDs would be nice, but since there's an off setting that's not bad.
