The 10-year warranty (SuperNOVA 650 G1 80 Plus Gold Power Supply - 120-G1-0650-X2) is valid only if purchase from an evga partners or also at other stores?

    That is the warranty as explained here (unless bought second hand--in which case you are not the original owner):

    So I have to buy from an authorized reseller to extend the warranty to 10 years. Thanks.
