Hey guys,
So a possible noob question but, I have an EVGA GTX 1080 FE, It doesnt matter if I use MSI afterburner, EVGA Precision XOC or Precision X 16. In MSI I have set to allow overvolting and crank it up to +100 but my volts never go above 1.062mV. In Precision It wont even let me check the box to overvolt. Is this normal operation for my card? I have seen people talking about thier 1080 going past stock volts. Wanted to call EVGA today but they are closed till Monday. Thanks in advance for any help.

You most likely won't gain much from increasing the voltage, with that being said I wouldn't worry about it.

I think most 1080 cards top out at 1.062V.

That said, extra volts on these 10 series cards doesn't do much for them.

    They top out at 1.093v.

1.062 and 1.093 might read as the same in software. It's only a 3% difference and software is notoriously inaccurate when it comes to proper voltage reading. It may actually be at 1.093 volts even though it reports 1.062v. The performance difference may be immeasurable.
