That is exactly why the Classy should come with water cooling out of the box. The FTW (and lets be honest the majority of cards) is 95% as good as a Classy (on air)... so what is the point of the Classy? LN2... what's the point when there is the KPE? Who is the Classy for... LN2 on a budget... that's an oxymoron. IMO water coolers are the only market the card makes sense for. The difference between the Classy and KPE is minimal on water so... logically... why get the KPE if that is your setup (baller status not withstanding)?
 
IMO the Classy would stand out more if it was targeted at water coolers. An expandable AIO water cooler out of the box (think EVGA Hybrid meets Asus Matrix Poseiden, custom PCB) would be the ideal setup. Marketable to the well to do general system builder but expandable enough for the custom loop high roller. Single slot custom block support would be the icing on the cake to appeal to 4 way benchmarkers. On top of that, the Classy PCB is big and the heat output so high, it is rarely used in small cases, so the added AIO radiator size is likely not going to impact it's marketability. Even more reason, it would be the ideal card for SLI since the heat is directed away from the card (one of the main reasons people use water cooling).
 
Now, the real reason this likely won't happen is EVGA would have to design a custom watercooling solution for the Classy since it has a different PCB vs the reference card (which the Hybrid is based on), which is sold in higher quantities making production cheaper... thus more feasible. IMO a partnership with an existing water cooling company like EK or Swiftech would be the best route. If this means a price increase, then I am personally ok with that.*
 
*Price would have to be lower than building a custom loop with equal functioning components.... obviously. If not possible... disregard this comment.

Im soon gonna die,  I sold my titan xs the day after 1080 at GTC was showed, To bad if Classified dont come at 27may.   gonna gett the FE then send it back and gett 2 classified when the card is at release , :)

I love the Classified cards.       

They should add an option to choose the cooler that we want on these cards.

I agree they should add it when adding into cart so we can just click on the card, the block of choice and click on purchase done. 😄

Ordered two FTW... but now I've heard so much talk about EK not doing blocks for them. Can anyone shed some light on this... or do I have to cancel that order and wait for Classified or (forgive me for cursing) go for some other brand?
