Still no word about it... it's stated as: SOON™ That's all the info we have as of yet. we might get a SOON® at the end of the month but it's all quiet at the moment.

I'm not sure I can wait any longer :(. I really want to know when these will release.
I took my old 780's out of my rig and re-built the watercooling loop now just awaiting the cards to get my PC back up and running :C

I'm not sure I can wait any longer :(. I really want to know when these will release.
I took my old 780's out of my rig and re-built the watercooling loop now just awaiting the cards to get my PC back up and running :C
I did the same :( I also took my 780 for a 1080 FTW out of my system. At the moment i think about sending the FTW back and order a SC, because i will be on vacation next week and the plan was to clean my watercooling system and rebuild it.

I've been using EVGA products for over a decade now, never had any other brands. Even now when my 580 is faulty and all my games crash every time I try to play it, i'm still waiting. I would appreciate a little hint at when to expect the Hydros....

The hybrid is advertised on the gtx 1080 product page now but still no hydro :(

Maybe it's been delayed because the hydro wont use an ekwb block this year. How long could this take to produce this card... the msi/ek one is already out they should have kept doing business with ek.

Whatever the reason it is causing a dilemma for me.I want to start but but I don't know if I should wait or proceed with another graphics card that offers a water cooling option.

Depend on what you are looking for. The hydro is probably going to be like the hybrid. I doubt that it will have all the features like the ftw.
If I was building a new system I would just go with the msi seahwak or even faster with the Founder edition + ekwb

The 780's I had I'm pretty sure the blocks were by Swift Tech? I never had any issues with it and was always happy with performance. Do you think if they're no longer working with EK they may go back to Swift Tech?

I got turned off of Asus and Msi both because of the apparent underhanded way they shipped non-stock cards to reviewers. That and I want to go with one name and not mix and match.

How is the performance gain in games vs your 3x 700 series cards? I imagine the heat and power diff is night and day.

I am seriously considering the MSI card which would be the first time I venture away from an EVGA branded product... I would love to have some vague idea of the anticipated release schedule. Any information at this point other than "No ETA" would be nice.

I too am considering this. I'm not really a huge fan of the MSI card but it seems the best alternative. I wouldn't mind waiting if we knew when we was waiting for but they said it would release end of July. Not only has it not been released it hasn't even been announced. It's not right to keep stringing people on. Just an official update would be nice.

I've kind of started to loose interest. I have enough money aside waiting to buy two 1080 hydro coppers but the more I'm being made to wait the less I want them. I'm not a child throwing my teddy out the pram because I'm not getting what I want. We was told a date for release would be the end of July. It's now a 3rd of the way into the following month and not only has the product not been released it's not even been officially announced.... If they're having problems with a new vendor for the blocks then fine... but just say so and give us a new ETA. If you can't make that new ETA then fine... just tell us and a brief reason why and a new ETA. It's not the fact that it's not here that people are getting angry about it's the fact that you wont update us. I stripped down my PC and it currently sits there with a half configured water loop awaiting the release of these cards before I can use it again. It's been like this for about a month now. Just please evga can we have an update :(
