Hey I bought a 1080 FTW a while back and am considering installing the Hybrid AIO kit onto it. Been trying to find videos of tutorials on how to properly disassemble the card so I don't unscrew anything that isn't necessary in installing the kit. I cant seem to find any videos installing it on this particular card and was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction. Thanks!

I'm in the same boat, ordered the kit for my 1070 ftw. So far there seems to be no installation videos specific to FTWs but I managed to find this: http://www.evga.com/support/manuals/files/1080%20and%201070%20FTW%20Hybrid%20Installation%20Guide.pdf Instructions seem pretty clear and straight foward. I think it's a pretty straight forward kit, just remember that you can't control the fan on the radiator (only the card's fan), unless you switch the fan to a Noctua or some other PWM model. That radiator fan runs at 100% - 24/7 and is not silent.

Danmit. Thought it was a PWM fan. I guess I'll have to put my spare cooler master fan (stock from 212 evo) on it. Or take one of my noctua f12s from my push-pull config on the CPU, what do you suggest?

As long as the mounting holes line up on the fan and the rad, any PWM fan should work fine. I always preferred going with a good fan though, and Noctua is a solid choice.

Did you see a significant decrease in temps when you did the push-pull on the cpu? You will be able to control the fan speed with pwm fan either based on system temp or cpu temp. I don't know if you will be able to control it based on gpu temps though, since the fan will be connected to a fan header on the mb. What I'm going to do is see how loud the stock radiator fan gets first. If I find it unbearable then I'll try a pwm fan. I'll then try push-pull with my spare fan and if there is a significant decrease in temp then I'll get two more noctuas.

I did push/pull with Corsair ML and HD 120's.
My idle temps are 28C.
Under load benching with +135 offset Core and +850 Mem my temps stay below 50C.
I didn't bother trying single pwm fan, just connected straight to mb and control speed with SpeedFan at around 1000rpm. Plenty quiet for me. ymmv

Installation was pretty easy when I did mine on a 980Ti. Glad they've done a FTW edition. Now to find stock of them

The instructions provided are not very good IMO, nice pictures but a lot of needed information is not there. If you have taken apart cards to install water blocks before you won't have any trouble but the instructions could be much better, the included fan runs very quite but I installed a different fan connected to motherboard header for control, I see no need for push/pull one fan does the job very easily, if you change the fan just make sure to use a fan for radiators not a normal case fan
