Hey guys, I Hope someone from EVGA reads this as well, I have an issue with Battlefield 4. I see people benchmarking BF4 getting 99% load on both their cards. My issue is as follows, Whenever I try to SLI my cards in BF4 the gpu usage drops to 50-60% and my CPU to 50~%, weird thing is my framerate is unlocked and only getting 70-80 fps and I now Wonder what the heck might be wrong.

If I look at GPU-Z one card says PerfCap Reason: vRel, SLI and the other one SLI.

With a single GPU my fps is around 130.

    Hello,

There could be some issues with your current or past driver installation.

I would completely wipe the drivers with a program called DDU (display driver uninstaller) which you can download here:

    http://www.guru3d.com/files-get/display-driver-uninstaller-download,20.html

If you ever had an AMD card in your system I would also use the tool to wipe the AMD drivers as well.

After running the program and removing all your current display drivers re-install the most up to date graphics drivers.

From your testing I cannot be certain that this issue is related to your EVGA product. The best diagnostic tool we have will be for you to run 3d mark firestrike (free program)

    http://www.techpowerup.com/downloads/2497/futuremark-3dmark-2013-v1-5-915/

Once you have ran firestrike benchmark please provide us with the link / URL to your score so that we may analyze the results and offer assistance.

A list of your system components would also be a good thing to add to your reply.

Hi! Here comes a link to the firestrike, tell me if you want me to run it again and change any settings. Saw gpu load pegged att the 2 first graphics test, the combines test was where they ran at 50% but probably due to bottenecking from the cpu during the intense physics.

    Hello,

based on your score there are some strange things happening HOWEVER your score is above average so its kind of strange.

It shows your GPU's running at 350mhz core clock but I cant see how thats possible.

how many programs are you running that monitor system components? Do you have afterburner and Precision X running at the same time?

The cards ran in 2012mhz and thats where One of them caps out limiting the other, Im only using Precision OS X & Nvidia Experience. Super Nice of you to help Me.

3dmark has been known to read the clocks incorrectly at times.

Did you optimize your game with geforce experience?

ahhh interesting. I have seen that issue when the user is running multiple overclocking programs. Wasnt sure if the issue was related to that or a 3dmark error.

Definitely a 3dmark error. I've seen it before myself.

In fact I did not, would I need to do that because it sets the game to ridiculous settings?

No, you don't want to use geforce experience to optimize your game.

Hmm I believe this issue resolved itself, seeing a bit more overhead on the cpu from SLI but performance got up to approx 110-160 fps and is now capped out by my 6700k @4.8Ghz

Figured out what did it, I went and reinstalled Windows and then went Into the 3d settings and put on maximum power. Then opened the tab where you can slide a slider between quality and performance there was a settings to use the 3d settings (maximum performance). That did it for me

Wrong by me, problem was not fixed permanently. The problem re-surfaced when playing more demanding games. I've uploaded a youtube clip so you can see how it works.

Do your cards reach 95-99% usage when running unigine heaven 4.0 @ max settings?

Don't know about unigine, will try it just give me a minute or two. 3DMark puts them at 99% at all times.

EDIT; Okay yeah they both range between 100% and 99% running maxed settings in 3440x1440
EDIT#2; Figured I never gave you full system specs

PSU - BeQuiet Dark Power Pro 11 1000w
    MOBO - MSI Gaming M7
    CPU - i7 6700k @5ghz
GPU - GTX 1080 FTW SLI /w NZXT Kraken
    RAM - 32GB DDR4 3200mhz cl11.

Interesting post, will try installing Windows on my HDD instead, Im running a 950 pro atm which connects to m.2 so could possibly be the issue. :-)
