Can anyone from EVGA speak as to if the company plans to release a Waterblock for this card? Thank you!

And if the answer is no....can anyone recommend a good block for the FTW model?

I don't work for EVGA, but I believe they ate planning on it. It took a few months for the FTW Hybrid cooler to be released after the FTW hybrid cards were released, so I would expect a similar delay for the Hydrocopper blocks designed for the FTW cards.

EK Water Blocks. Best blocks available if personal opinions count. They already have the FTW block out from the last I had heard.

Thank you both for your feedback!

@ipkha - Thank you for giving me hope! I think I am going to hold out and hope for the best, that they release one!

@Scarlet-Tech - I do like EK Blocks...all of the blocks currently on my older build are EK. I am unable to find any USA stock of the blocks, and I don't want to pull the trigger on one at it take 2 weeks to get here from Slovenia, only to have EVGA release one.....

I guess I will have to be patient. I would really appreciate any insight that an EVGAMod could provide on the possibility of seeing a 1080 FTW block in the future.....would really help be decide in which direction to go.

    Thanks again!

Performance-PCs usually carry stock, and they had a 10% off code that ended yesterday.

Yeah, it only takes 2 to 3 days. I get things that I order from ek before I get them from performance-pcs.. And I love ordering from performancepcs.

I feel your pain on waiting for a product. I'm hoping for the new expandable water cooling system to have an FTW block. I'd like to trade my evga bucks in for that in the future.

Wow......maybe I will take the chance! It was long ago (on my SR-2 Motherbaord) it took 13 days for me to get it....

Could someone help me out with this? I am playing a little Sherlock Holmes here!

    So......THIS card right here:
    http://www.evga.com/Products/Product.aspx?pn=08G-P4-6299-KR

^ That card is a FTW card, right? Meaning that water block is a FTW water block, correct? My point is that the water block must already be in existence, which would indicate that they will very likely release it separately........riiiiiight?

In essence, the above Hydro Copper FTW card is the exact same card as the following, with the exception of having a water block?

Yes, that is the same card with a waterblock. I do not know if or when they will make the block available separate from the card. That would be a great route once it is released though.

    Hello everyone!

Thank you again to all who responded to my thread.

So tonight I broke down and called into EVGA. Long time customer, first time caller. I must say, I am impressed.

I spoke with a rep named Jonathan. He indicated they he fully expects the waterblock to become available for sale shortly. He said that it is simply a matter of when, and not if!

I will sit tight in hopes of the block being available for sale soon!

Just thought I would pass that along!
