So, I bought a 1080 FTW Hydro Copper last week from NewEgg. Assumed it uses standard G1/4 fittings, but guess not?

Started to breakdown and clean out my loop this week and when I went to place some 45-degree Bitspower and XSPC G1/4 fittings, none of them fit.
Straight compression fittings worked, G1/4 extensions worked, but none of my 45-degree fittings worked.

The strange thing is that on the ports that face out, where the label is, the 45-degree fittings worked perfectly. However, on both the top and bottom ports, the thread size seems to small. I saw other Hydro coppers that had the same issue with Bitspower:

I tried to thread one on with some force by hand, but managed to only get the fitting to make 1 full turn. I checked the thread and it started shave/cut a new thread.

So, is this an issue? with my 45-degree Bitspower/XSPC fittings? I have some 90-degree Bitspower they haven't tried yet, they are being used in an external loop i have running, flushing out my rads and other blocks

I have 8 HC and all use Standard G 1/4 BSPP Fittings just fine.
Take a photo of the fitting and post it, it may have missed being threaded.
Maybe the "but none of my 45-degree fittings worked." are what are not Standard G 1/4 BSPP.

Was about to take pictures, but ended up finding a local store with some EKWB 45-degree and 90-degree fittings.

Just tried them out and they fit perfectly. Bought both a Nickle and Black 45-degree and a Black 90-degree and all 3 fit on each port.

Its wierd that my 5x 45-degree XSPC, 3x 45-degree Bitspower, 2x 90-degree Bitspower fittings dont fit. I've tested them on spare radiators I have and they all fit perfectly fine. Perfectly fine with my spare female-female, male-female, valves, and T-adapter fittings as well (all a mix of XSPC and BitsPower)

edit: Actually, my 90-degree and T-Adapter Bitspower fittings are fitting now, after threading on the EKWB. My XSPCs dont, so looks like my XSPCs were threaded incorrectly or something
