Seems a bit low compared to some of the higher end offerings. Hopefully the extra VRMs and power connectors will make the lower clock speed moot.

The SC's boost is 1847, the FTW was listed as 1873. EDIT: I wonder if the reason is because that will allow EVGA to sell more FTW's that aren't very good with overclocks despite the better power delivery. That would be extremely carpy of them if that is the case.

If the difference really only is 13 MHz more between the sc and ftw, I'll cancel my order and get the Asus strix, which comes in nearly at 2000 MHz. Remember, no overclock over stock is guaranted.

i agree 1873 boost seems a little low for the FTW edition when almost all the other cards in the same price range are close to that 2000MHz boost

Hybrid and Classy listed as well, very pricy cards indeed. 690/680£ is quite a big bag of gold.

l managed to pre-order one of these yesterday, that clock speed better be higher for the cost difference or I see no point in buying it over the SC.

It has 10+2 power phases to the SC's 6+1, and 2 PCIE power connectors to the SC's 1. And RGB lighting, if that's your thing.

When I get a moment I am going to lock this thread. Always feel free to use the forum search feature. If you type "FTW clocks", the original thread pops right up. This will stop double posting and locked, moved, combined threads and answer the question, "Did someone get to it first?". http://forums.evga.com/GP...revealed-m2484615.aspx
