Looks like you have to be a dedicated member of amazon or newegg to get priority around here.. I was told EVGA gives priority to it's preorder members... Sooo not the case.. 
If I had known they'd shaft me, to give preference to an online retailer, I'd of gone to newegg.. That'll teach me to be loyal to a brand..
Lesson learned..

Amazon won't see preorders shipped till the the end of june so no love for them

More preorders charging and shipping out today, all those who are going out today have already been notified.
 
Again, more will be going out tomorrow (Friday). Unfortunately, we are not able to get ALL the preorders out this week, more next week. Will continue to update the progress.

Yeah, I will probably not be getting one shipped to me until next week then :( Ahh well, thanks for the update.

Anyone have any info on amazon pre-orders?

I have the same question. I would've ordered one through EVGA like I did last time, given the chance, but Amazon was my only option.
 
I have a friend coming in from out of town next weekend and I really hope to demo the Vive to them on the 1080. My GTX680 can only run a couple basic titles properly.

........So will you guys have enough 1080ftw to fufill all orders by next week? Because I emailed you guys twice and both times you guys said you'd have enough to fulfill everyone who ordered on 5/27 this week. My vive is collecting dust right now. :-|

Yep, that would make me feel a lot better if we could paint some type of mental picture on how this process is going.  "Soon" and "shipping some each day" is great, but numbers work wonders for me personally.

Proper nerd but didn't really follow stories like this that came up.  That's a little extreme to compare the lawsuit with Butterfly Labs to the pre-order situation involving EVGA.  We're talking 2-3 weeks delay here when customers involved with Butterfly Labs were waiting almost half a year.  It wasn't even until the customers started complaining that it appears the hardware was then shipped out.

What I am really dying to know is how many preorders were done.  If the orders that have been shipped cover up to lets say May 27th 9am and some people got orders in by 9pm, that could be like 5000 preorders or more.  If in each shipment they are doing even 500 which I doubt it is that high that would take 10 shipments and that alone is 10 business days minimum which will take until the end of next week at least.  I am super curious to find out the numbers because it could even be more than 5000 we just have no idea.  I am in Canada so I know no shipments are occurring until the preorders are all done which makes sense but maybe hearing some concrete order numbers would at least give us a better idea.  I know it is delayed but how delayed, I am unlikely to switch to another brand as every video card I have gotten is always an EVGA, it just makes me feel a bit better when I can actually put a date on my calendar.  Sorry for the rant, I really just wish we knew the numbers 

Safe to say a general numerical layout will make a lot of us feel better aside from "soon".  I'm by no means considering to cancel my pre-order as I am very happy with EVGA products but some nitty-gritty details would be bliss ^_^.  

Just to verify, I'm assuming this quote from the Newegg issue email from EVGA support is no longer accurate from last week:

"We are expecting to fulfill all pre-orders for the EVGA FTW model sometime by the end of next week."

 21:46:58 or 9:46:58 PM for me. Looks like invoice is going by West Coast time cause confirmation email time is +3 hours for east coast. So I guess I am right after you. Hope to get it in hand before 4th of July weekend. It has been hard boycotting any new games until I get this card, my old GTX 780 is not doing so well at 2k/4k resolution, lol.

I preordered in the morning on the 27th and I haven't gotten a single word on whether my shipment is going out soon or not.

They already said that Newegg getting those FTWs was a mistake. I've been watching nowinstock.net's 1080 alerts for a couple of days now, and so far just about every card I've seen offered on the sites they track has been founders editions by various companies (including EVGA this morning at Best Buy). A couple of days ago a smattering of EVGA 1080 SCs went up on Newegg, both alone and in combo with a power supply. Some ASUS and Gigabyte cards have come up, and Zotac and PNY, at various places.
 
But so far the FTWs that mistakenly went out to Newegg are the only ones aside from these pre-orders that have been going out from EVGA the last couple days are the only ones I've seen.
 
Personally, though, I don't think it's reasonable to expect that a company like EVGA, which is, globally, extremely dependent on a healthy network of 3rd party partners to sell the overwhelming bulk of its products over entire product lifecycles, to so blatantly disadvantage those same partners at launch by denying them any stock at all for weeks into a product launch in order to fulfill its own online store's pre-orders exclusively. That would be bad business, actually. If they've made a mistake here, IMHO, it's not more forcefully disclaiming that US EVGA.com preorders will get exclusive access to stock until they're all fulfilled, before any 3rd party gets any.
