EVGA x99 Classified with 5960x everything stock.
1080 FE x2
EVGA 1600w PSU
64Gb DDR4 GSkill
Dual SSD Raid 0

The first set of results were with a single old EVGA ribbon SLI bridge that came with my motherboard.
The first result is stock everything with the second in OC with stock power and temp target + 180 core +500 mem. This was the most I could get in SLI without spending a lot of time tweaking.

The second set of results was with the new EVGA HB bridge.
Same stock settings and then the same OC as mentioned above.

So far on a single card my avg OC was about 2100Mhz and max was seen at 2300Mhz again I still have not invested a lot of time in tweaking.

Remember, that FCAT is a tool that would be a better judge of how the HB bridge is working since it is looking at frametime and frame pacing.  More FPS is not necessarily the goal of the new HB bridge.  3DMark is not be the best way to measure the impact on of the HB bridge although some have seen some higher numbers.  Jacob has commented on this several times in various threads.

Also benefits will be greater at higher resolution, like 4K for example or Surround.

So I was checking out this chart and I noticed that the old bridge did receive higher FPS than the HB and it is do to the frame pacing which makes a lot of sense. Instead of seeing high frame rates at an eratic pace we see a little lower frame rates at a much smoother pace. Here is the bottom line for me. I just had an opportunity to throw some games at it in 4K. I don't have 60 Hrz yet but soon. I just played GTAV and maxed out EVERYTHING except frame scaling because of memory restraints. It performed perfectly. For once in my short lived PC building career. It was gorgeous and extremely smooth. I have Vsync enabled and it never droped under 30 and I bet @ 60Hrz it wouldn't drop under that either so I don't care if FPS is a little lower. Awesome job Nvidia and EVGA. Thanx. I'm just hoping the 1080 Ti has a bit more memory. Like 16 Gbs!
