Is EVGA the sole retailer for FTW at release usually? I have not had success trying to obtain one through their store. :/  Hoping to snag one on Amazon or Newegg as well if EVGA already max'd their pre-orders.

Past series of cards, the FTW edition is available at places like Newegg. You can buy a 980 FTW right now. So it stands to reason that FTW edition 1080s will go up there eventually.

That wasn't the question, the question was will EVGA be the sole retailer at release. I know that you can purchase FTW editions of their older cards right now from other retailers.
 
This is my first time trying to purchase/preorder a new release GPU and wanted to know when they popped up on Newegg/Amazon given past experiences of others at the release of past EVGA cards.
 

If they follow suit the FTW cards will be on NewEgg on release day like the EVGA founders edition.

Yep, after taxes and customs duty, we pay slightly more than $850 for the FTW, but I just have to get one.
