With all the memory issues I decided I should just do the step up for 240 cad. I bought a 10 year warranty on my 1070 does this carry over to the 1080?

My little rig:
-144hz 24"
-Cosmos S modded blue
-ASUS VIII Hero
-6700K 4.7GHZ
-16GB Corsair Dominator Platinum 3000MHZ
-EVGA 1070 GTX SC 
-Corsair AX860I PSU
