Hi,

file:///C:/Users/Charly/Desktop/Unigine_Valley_Benchmark_1.0_20160727_2231.html

Is that normal? I see scores around 4000 for 1070.

Also one test fails with userbenchmark and it can't be benchmarked by this software.

I see no problem in games, it looks great and better than my 970. But this score?
I'm running it with a 1080p display @ 60 fps and during Valley benchmark GPU utilization goes up to 99% for what it matters. Core clock stays @ 1860MHz.

Thank you for the help

edit. it's weird Unigine says I'm running Windows 8 although I'm on 10...

Try running 3D Mark Firestrike or TimeSpy to see what scores you get then post the link in here. Since you can't post the full link yet separate it like this 3dmark.com /fs/ 8fs9nea

Fire strike : 3dmark.com /3dm/ 13662825

Thank you for the help

Are you sure that you have the latest drivers installed for the GTX 1070 and you have the monitor connected to the graphics card and not your on board GPU?

Yes, drivers installed are 368.81 and I did a fresh install. Display is connected to the GPU.

Any solution before a fresh install of Windows?
Thing strange is that games run good, if I get better graphics after solution this card is a beast.

I only ask because it is showing your GPU as a GENERIC VGA and not a 1070.

Start by doing a clean installation of the drivers using a program called Display Driver Uninstaller [], which completely removes the video drivers and registry from your system and then install the latest Nvidia drivers and try the Firestrike or TimeSpy again

Yes I saw that and it's confusing.

Will do.

It's obvious from your 3Dmark test that you are FPS locked to 60FPS. Turn off VSYNC and/or GSYNC in the NVCP (Nvidia Control Panel) and run the test again.

Done but result isn't much higher and GPU is still not recognized after fresh install.

I'm really concerned about my hardware now...

Why? That score is about right for a stock 1070 and a stock 6600K.

Your stock 1070 has 16 to 17% slower FPS than the fastest 1070 with a 6600K in the Firestrike test when I compared your score.

As to the Generic GPU being reported, that's been asked in other threads and appears to be a bug on 3Dmark's side.

Edit: If you want a higher score, you will need to overclock the GPU and the CPU. Make sure your CPU cooler can handle the extra heat, and you will probably need to set a custom fan curve for the GPU using MSI's Afterburner (highly recommended that you use it over EVGA's very buggy PrecisionX OC).
