Hello everyone, new guy here. Just found out about the step up program. Would moving from an EVGA GeForce GTX1070 sc GAMING to an GeForce GTX 1080 GAMING ACX 3.0 be "worth it?" (I  realize this is VERY subjective, but is stepping up from one to the other a good move?) Any help would be great. Thanks everyone!

I mainly game at 1440p. Also, to put it plainly, I'd like to take advantage of the program and obtain an "upgrade." That is, if doing so would truly be an upgrade.

Your EVGA GTX 1070 SC Will Game at 1440p Just Fine without any overclocking.

If you like to wait 2-3 years before upgrading your card I would definitely consider stepping up to a 1080.

Yes any GTX 1070 would be fine.

I purchased my 1070 SC in September of this year. Wanted to take advantage of the step up program now, but only if the 1080 ACX or Founders Edition would be an actual upgrade from what I currently have.
