Will there be a 1070 Hybrid version?

Some people want all heat exhausted out of the case but can't stand the blower coolers of the founders/reference cards because they don't provide enough cooling, especially in SLI setups.

    There is an 970 Hybrid so why do you think that Evga will not do the same with 1070 ?

    Cool, yea, I never looked at the 970 so I didn't know :)

    Hope they add a backplate cause it looks ridicolous without one

    What would the estimated release date be?

    Not before June 10th and i hope gtx 1070 will be much more available than gtx 1080 because Evga will have some more time to make stocks .

    The 1080 hybrid isn't out yet, so maybe the 1070 will also lag beyond release date... but the coolers should be compatible, so the 1070 should have a smoother roll out, which is NVIDIA's idea since the 1070 is their money maker
