I just unboxed my 1070 FTW. The fans wont stop at idle. I tried to reinstall the drivers, but it didn't work. How do i enable this feature?

    First step, are you on the 'Master' or 'Slave' BIOS?  Check the switch by the power connector.  In 'Slave' mode, the fan minimum is 20%.  In 'Master', you have 0dB operation.
     
    If in 'Slave', switch it after you power down and restart.

    Do you have any application capable of controlling the fans, installed? If you have EVGA Precision X, MSI Afterburner or SpeedFan installed, try uninstalling them and then running DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller). After you reinstall the driver, see if this solves the problem.

    THIS IS WHY I BUY EVGA PRODUCTS. Thanks for the fast answer. I had accidently flipped the bios switch to slave, when installing the gpu. Had mad OC though on the slave. 2154mhz stable on GTA V.
