I bought this card on the 9/28/2016. Install no problems, but under heavy gaming loads Monitor goes black and I have to literally hit the reset on the pc. Is this a bios problem or is this a RMA waiting to happen? Is there a fix to this problem instead of a RMA? I have 780 Ti for the PhysX and 1070 in main slot on a Asus Rampage IV Black with a Asus ROG PG278Q.

What are your full system specs? Don't forget to list make/model/age of your psu.

There are a couple of things that you can try. You might want to start with removing the 780 Ti to see if that clears the problem. I mention that because I've had black screen issues when running cards from different generations in the past.

Alternatively, you can try running DDU and installing the last known good driver - or if you didn't change drivers recently, try the latest Nvidia WHQL driver. Step 2 here will explain how to use/download DDU (it's free!) - http://forums.evga.com/Basic-troubleshooting-steps-Windows-clean-boot-clean-driver-install-debug-mode-etc-m2504606.aspx

So exactly how old is your psu? Since your 1070 is a superclocked model I would suggest running the card in debug mode (#3) to see if it helps resolve your black screen issue when under heavy gaming loads.
