Hey all just got a 1070 SC from Bestbuy (), and noticed that the model number isn't a typical KR. Do I have anything to worry about or should this model follow suite with EVGA's typical lineup? (Not forgetting that 970 fiasco). If so I can go back in a heartbeat and get the 1070 FE, or just order the proper KR edition from newegg. Just looking for some suggestions as to whether I'm okay or if I should drive back ASAP. The EVGA page for the KB edition is missing information compared to the KR edition.

Okay good to know, so there are no differences between the two cards other than a model number (probably for sales tracking)?

Alright, going to use my remaining week to test it out and hopefully it matches the full performance spectrum.

I have a GTX 960SC i bought from amazon, a month or so before the 1060 dropped 04G-P4-3962-KR and I was bummed to see that it was not listed on the EVGA stepup page.

 
What does this have to do with the original post?

I have also experienced this at Best Buy. Many of their products they request to have as a Best Buy only SKU and the vendors comply making it impossible to use their "price match guarantee" or whatever it is called. Such a scam and it's silly that the vendors go along with it too. 

That is when I ask for the manager on duty at Best Buy and have him override their garbage SKU after explaining how much money I spend on electronics and how Amazon is available to me 24/7.
